Yay, stem cells harvested

I received some good news today, I did in fact harvest enough stem cells! I produced four times the amount needed which is great because it enabled me not to do a second day which i’m not sure I was quite up to after yesterday. I’m tired from the harvest process but done until I go back for the main event Jan 30. I’m not going to sugarcoat it, that was a tough two weeks or so but it’s over and now I just need to finish this thing out and move on with living life!!

I am on a flight home as I type and I cannot wait to see the kids and I’m sure mom is in need of a little break. Thank you to everyone who had the kids over and kept their eye out. I know it helped them out to have fun distractions!! I’m so beyond lucky to have such a nice supportive community and friends checking up on me.

I’ll probably sign off of the blog to fully focus on family over the next few days but keep us in your thoughts and prayers as the hardest 1/2 of this is still awaiting.

Oh and when my bloodwork hits the normal range (ideally in 3-6 months) we are going to throw a fun party to thank everyone for all their help.

Hope everybody has a nice weekend!!! If you see a baldie riding her bike around town, don’t call the cops. It’s just me being bored because I have to stay away from public places this week!
